Sandra and I saw this sign when waiting at the tire store yesterday. We both looked at each other and said, “That’s good.” and took a picture of it.
If the world knows enough to live by integrity, ought not His children? The world rightly expects that of Christians, but God all the more.
Counselors, interns, TD’ers, integrity counts! Here are important Scripture verses for us to let the Holy Spirit impress upon our lives and for us to resolve to live by:
Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.
Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways.
The righteous who walks in his integrity— blessed are his children after him!
Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.
One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.
