Ask Your Questions!

Hey TD!

When discussing the possiblilities for our TD theme this summer, one of the ideas brought up was getting questions from TD’ers ahead of time, then answering them during the meetings.  That way, we could be addressing questions/topics that are on your minds and hearts.  From that discussion came the idea that perhaps we ought to make short 3 – 5 minute podcasts to answer those questions instead.

So, that’s where we’re at.  If you have any questions or issues that you would like addressed, please submit them and we’ll do our best to address them!  They can be about anything! – Arthur

      • Sure. My questions are regarding Ezekiel 40 to 47 and come out of my lack of Bible knowledge so there might be some untrue assumptions.

So first off, why didn’t the Israelite remnant led by Joshua and Zerubbabel attempt to rebuild the temple in the way that would fulfill Ezekiel’s prophecy? And secondly, why was the priesthood (CH 42, 44) restored if this prophecy about the new temple is to be fulfilled in Christ’s 1000 year reign? Also what is Ezekiel 44:9 talking about flesh circumcision? Quote: “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: No foreigner uncircumcised in heart and flesh is to enter my sanctuary, not even the foreigners who live among the Israelites.” I’m also wondering why the temple even needs a “Most Holy Place.”

Thank you for considering these questions!
