Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary …

I grew up with little nursery rhymes.  Perhaps you did too.  One of them starts out, “Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary …”  Well, in the case of young Mary, mother of Jesus, quite the opposite is true.  In studying Luke 1:39-56 and in discussing this Friday’s message with Sandra and Jenny, I realized that this seasoned, experienced, so-called “mature” Christian leader has a lot to learn from a young, teenage Jewish girl.  And learn from her I will.

I hope you will too.  Please read the passage thoroughly, and then join me and the rest of TD this Friday as Jenny gives her first TD message, “Mary’s Song.”  It’s going to be insightful and helpful in your life.  It already has been in mine.
